29 Castle Arcade

University friends Michelle, Ian and Steve were always passionate about games and saw a gap in the market for something different, so they opened Rules of Play back in 2011.  As the interest in board games has grown, so to has the store, moving to its current base in Castle Arcade from a smaller site in the same location.

New games are available weekly, and the store prides itself on being able to source the latest must-haves from across Europe and beyond.

Along with the day job, the team also run weekly games nights across Cardiff and have also hosted three International TapleTop Days, the last of which saw over 400 guests take part - the largest event of its kind in the city.
